Scholarship value, duration and payments
The scholarship value include EUR 750,00/month for accommodation for max. one year and EUR 1.200,00 one-off allowance for travel expenses. The scholarship is paid monthly with the first payment about 2 weeks after arrival in Germany.
The scholarship is intended for students of Intake 2.
Application deadline
The application deadline for the next award is on the 5th May 2008.
Please submit your Application in a paper form to MBA-IMC Office at HCMUT.
The decision about the scholarhip will be made in June 2008.
We will contact you to arrange an appointment with the committee.
Applicants
The DAAD scholarship for MBA-IMC aims all the MBA-IMC Vietnam students and offers financial support for their stay in Germany in the 3rd and 4th semester.
Application documents and Selection criteria
The applicant’s academic qualifications and personal suitability are the decisive factors in the scholarship award decision. The MBA-IMC Vietnam will take the following selection criteria into consideration:
- The examination results of the 1st semester
- Previous academic achievements as well as the applicant's particular knowledge in his or her academic field
- Recommendation letter from a MBA IMC lecturer
- An essay on reasons for applying for DAAD scholarship, especially the reasons for staying in Germany and its significance for the personal career and the home country
- Proof of German language proficiency
Applications can only be processed when they have been submitted in full, including all required papers and documents. Incomplete applications (including missing papers or documents) cannot be processed by the MBA-IMC and will result in the applicant's exclusion from the selection process.
Please be aware that the recommendation letter can not be issued by Prof. Dr. R.-Dieter Reineke, as he is part of the panel who is making a decision about the scholarships.
Selection process
As a rule, the selection or the assessment of incoming applications is carried out by both Prof. Dr. R.-Dieter Reineke (I-IMC Germany) and Dr. Markus Symmank (DAAD Information Centre HCMC).
