Doctorate programme in cooperation with the University of Lincoln
This special opportunity will enhance your qualification even further: In cooperation with the University of Lincoln (UK), we have created a doctorate programme tailor-made for our alumni and students who have taken on a heavy professional workload.
The doctorate provides students with the opportunity to
- consolidate a specific field of international management consulting,
- engage in research work and publish specialist articles,
- further develop specific contents and areas of knowledge.
Two academic qualifications in 6 years
The students in our courses can use their final MBA thesis as the basis for a short (3 to 4 years) part-time doctoral programme. First they submit an application proposal to I-IMC. If the application is accepted they can enrol in the two universities (Ludwigshafen and Lincoln). Within 6 months the finalised proposal is submitted and serves as the basis for the doctoral thesis. Once your proposal has been accepted you are registered for the doctorate programme and can begin to write your thesis. There are currently seven professors specialising in different subjects in Ludwigshafen who are available to assist and supervise the students’ theses. Upon completion of the doctoral thesis the University of Lincoln awards the title „Doctor of Philosophy"
Entry requirements and fees
Our doctorate programme has been created exclusively for graduates of I-IMC who have proved to meet a high academic standard. At present the costs amount to 3,500 Euro per year. A period of 3 to 5 years is to be assumed for completion.
